Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

2 1/4 C. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 C. butter-flavor Crisco
3/4 C. sugar
3/4 C. brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 large eggs
1 C. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:

Combine flour, soda, and salt in small bowl
Beat butter, sugars and vanilla in large mixer bowl until creamy
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition
Gradually beat in flour mixture
Stir in chips
Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheet
Bake at 375 for 10 minutes or until golden brown
Cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes
Remove to wire racks to cool completely
Yields: 60 cookies

1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 C. butter-flavor Crisco
6 T. sugar
6 T. brown sugar, packed
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 large egg
1/2 C. semi-sweet chocolate chips
